Hi, I'm HL Muller, an Australian Self Published Best Selling Romance Author.

Hi, I'm Heidi! I grew up in south-west Sydney and now call Queensland home, where I live with my marvellous husband, our daughter, and our loving Labrador.

I fell in love with happy endings as a child and I've been chasing them ever since. Growing up with dyslexia, I struggled with reading and writing, until I discovered a love of reading. It all started with a slightly cringeworthy obsession with a certain Edward Cullen (no regrets!), and these days I devour more than 200 books a year.

That passion for reading led me to start writing short stories, and in 2019 I wrote my first book, The Princes and The Lumberjack. More than five years on, I'm a self-published bestselling author with over ten published books with more to come, and I write romance in all its forms. From Pricesses, to rockstars, from M/F romance, to M/M (and maybe some F/F on the way too 😉), my passion is putting a twist on the usual tropes, and finding a new way to tell the stories that exist inside my head.

I've been lucky enough to have been invited to attend signings including ARRA '26, Love League '26, BABE '25, Books-in-Sight Melbourne '25, the Newcastle Book Boyfriend Event '24 and Love on the Beach '24, and there are plenty more on the horizon.
